Xshield Spark Release Notes

This document tracks new features, enhancements, and important changes across Xshield Spark versions.

Version 26.1​

New Features​

  • CrowdStrike Spark Mode Support - CrowdStrike Spark mode is now supported starting from version 26.1

  • Managing Spark Sensors - XShield Platform provides centralized management interface for monitoring and controlling all Spark-enabled EDR assets including enabling debug logs and collecting diagnostics

  • Listening Ports Enrichment by Spark - Latest Spark version provides enhanced telemetry with complete UDP port discovery, process identification, and full process paths

Enhancements​

  • Firewalld Compatibility - Spark enforcement will be skipped when firewalld is present on Linux systems to prevent conflicts. Future releases will support coexistence of customer firewalld rules and ColorTokens rules.
