Segment Baseline Report

Overview​

As part of our discovery phase, only a few of the agents were installed. Now that segments have been created and assets assigned, all additional agents can be installed.

Generating a Breach Impact Baseline Report​

To visualize and assess the security posture, a breach impact baseline report will be generated.

Steps to Generate Breach Impact Baseline Report​

  1. Go to 'Segments' on the left panel.
  2. Add a filter for the production environment.
  3. Select all the filtered segments.
  4. Click on 'Create Report'.

Create Report

  1. Specify a name for the report.
  2. Click on 'Save'.

Once the background processes finish:

  1. Click on 'Reports'.

Reports

  1. In the reports list, click on the download button for the previously generated report.

Download Report

Review the baseline report on breach impact and approve it.

Conclusion​

At the end of this activity, all assets are tagged, have assigned business value, and are part of the main segments. The baseline metrics are also approved, ensuring that the security and management framework are accurately reflected in the system.
